If Robert Kraft Moves On From Belichick All Fingers Will Be Pointing At Him If The Patriots Do Not Succeed

Today is doomsday for many coaches around the NFL. As we sit and wait to hear news of the meeting that is likely being currently held by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick, I have begun to ponder the enormous weight of the decision that is in front of Robert Kraft. If Kraft chooses to move on from Bill Belichick and the dynasty that he built, there will be no more fingers to point. It will all be on the Kraft’s to return the Patriots organization to glory.

At first, I felt the Kraft’s might be meddling a little too much, and this could all come crashing down like it did with Bill Parcells, when they tried to take control away from him after he pieced together some of the most important pieces of the first part of the Patriots dynasty. It obviously did not go over well with Parcells, and he bolted for the NY Jets. I felt like this was DeJa’Vu all over again until Bill Belichick threw a nasty curveball that left a lot of heads spinning this morning.

For the last few years Kraft has been using Belichick as a pawn Bill while he was spending his money on artificial things like the Jumbotron and the new lighthouse instead of putting the money into the roster. Sure, all those things will please the fans, but the product on the field suffered greatly because of it.

My wish is that Belichick stays, but relinquishes some GM duties unless Kraft has been strong, arming him and forcing terrible draft day decisions like N’Keal Harry, and drafting Mac Jones

My biggest fear is if Belichick is let go, I just know he is going to end up on the Chargers, or Las Vegas, and take them right to the Super Bowl.  Belichick will take a steamy dump all over the Patriots, and only the way he knows how to do it, during media day, and the Patriots end up as the laughingstock of the league for at least the next 10 years.
