Bill Belichick Put A Lot Of Pressure On Robert Kraft To Keep Him During His Press Conference

Bill Belichick went out of character this morning at his end-of-season press conference on Monday morning. He made it very clear he wishes to remain as head coach of the New England Patriots. Belichick put the ball in Robert Kraft’s corner and made it known there would be no mutual parting of ways.

Belichick went as far as to say he would give up his general manager role to stay on as the Patriots coach. It was a stunning turn of events that many didn’t expect he would be willing to concede power. Belichick used all his manipulative talents to make sure that Robert Kraft would be stuck with a very difficult decision if he is leaning towards cutting ties.

“Look, I’m for whatever we decide collectively as an organization is the best thing to help our football team,” said Belichick, via NESN’s Zack Cox. “I have multiple roles in that, and I rely on a lot of people to help me in those responsibilities. Somebody’s got to have the final say. I have it. I rely on a lot of other people to help. Whatever that process is, I’m only part of it.”
