An Anonymous NFL Coach Believes Bill Belichick Will Sign Antonio Brown
It has been a whirlwind day in the NFL as Antonio Brown and his $30 million dollar guaranteed contract went up in flames. Now one NFL coach believes Bill Belichick may take a shot at him. This may seem a little far fetched, who would want to add this disaster to their locker room? Still, one thing I have learned is never count Bill Belichick out. Belichick has taken chances on numerous players in the past like Corey Dillon, Randy Moss and Bryan Cox, none of those were quality locker room guys prior to playing in New England, but Belichick was able to harness them. The Patriots have so much veteran leadership that they could conceivably offer Brown a no bullshit offer with so much contract language that if Brown gives the slightest hint of screwing up they could cut him loose. Brown is no longer eligible for a guaranteed contract and can be signed after 4pm today.
The next few hours could get very interesting. There is a slim chance that anyone offers Brown big money. This will likely force Brown into a 1 year prove it deal with a contender. Antonio Brown may be a complete disaster right now but talent like that is never readily available.
