Video: Classless Yankees Fans Throw Garbage At Cleveland Guardians Players After A Walk Off Hit
It was an ugly scene in New York following a walk off hit by Gleybar Torres. Yankees fans immediately began tossing garbage, and beer cans at Cleveland Guardians players at Yankee Stadium after an incident on the previous at bat. The trouble began after Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steve Kwan appeared to have hurt himself after crashing into a wall trying to prevent a game tying double by Isiah Kiner Falefa. Fans began to taunt Kwan, which prompted Guardians teammate Myles Straw, to climb the wall, and have a few words with the Yankees fans. All hell broke lose immediately after the Torres had the walk off hit, which ended the celebration early for Aaron Judge, and Giancarlo Stanton, who tried to calm things down.
