Tom Brady Rookie Card Set A New World Record After It Was Sold For Over $2 Million In An Auction
The holy grail of all Tom Brady football cards sold for a record breaking $2,252,854.80 yesterday, which is the largest total in history for a football card. It crushed the previous record of another Tom Brady card that was bought for over $1.3 million a few weeks back.
The bidding began at $75,000, and 67 total bids were placed.
“The 2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Rookie Ticket #144 Tom Brady Rookie Autograph card was graded 8.5 with an autograph grade of nine,” according to Lelands.
