The Negative Rhetoric Surrounding Cam Newton Was Crushed After He Was Voted Team Captain

Since the day Cam Newton was signed by the New England Patriots, numerous Patriots fans and media alike have come up with a number of reasons why Cam Newton would not fit in with the Patriots, and especially Bill Belichick. Cam seems to be fitting in just fine after getting high praise from coach Belichick, and being voted in as a team captain by his new teammates for the upcoming 2020 season. Hopefully at this point all the negative rhetoric surrounding Newton will go away.

By all accounts, Newton’s former teammates loved him in Carolina, and gave nothing but glowing reviews about him. Newton is also known for being one of the most generous athletes in the league with his time spent with those in need. Apparently those are the qualities Cam has brought in to the Patriots locker room. At the end of the day, the real Cam Newton shined through in only a few short weeks, and Bill Belichick will entrust him to lead the team as far as Cam can take them for the 2020 season.

It is basically time to shit, or get off the pot for any Patriots fans that still don’t like Cam Newton. For better or worse, all our playoff hopes ride on him this season.
