Robert Kraft Reaches Out To A Fan With A VIP Invitation After A Viral Video Shows Him Being Harassed By A Raiders Fan

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft reached out to a Patriots after a video went viral showing a Patriots fan getting harassed by a Raiders fan last weekend following the Patriots ridiculous last second loss. This was the first game the fan Jerry Edmond every attended, and thanks to Mr. Kraft it won’t be his last.

The video with over 7 million views shows a woman in a Derek Carr jersey getting in Edmond’s face while the stadium erupted in cheers just as Chandler Jones was scoring the game-winning touchdown for Las Vegas. Edmond was praised for keeping his cool during the exchange.

Kraft personally called Edmond on Wednesday to invite him to attend the Patriots’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Christmas Eve, where he’ll also receive a customized jersey and pregame passes to let him on the field before the game.

“I’d like to thank everyone for all the kind words,” Edmond said on Twitter after the video went viral. “I’m the Patriots fan in the video. My name is Jerry Edmond and that was my first ever NFL game. I didn’t want to ruin my experience by retaliating towards that woman so I kept my cool.”

The website League of Justice acquired and released audio of a voicemail that Kraft left for Edmond, thanking him for his “cool and first-class” conduct during the exchange.

“Hey Jerry, this is Robert Kraft from the Patriots. I just want you to know I think you represented our brand in a very classy way,” Kraft said, according to audio from League of Justice. “I loved to see that you stayed cool and first-class in an environment that could have been provoking — and I heard that was your first Patriot game, or NFL game.”
