New England Patriots Hire Alex Van Pelt as Offensive Coordinator
The New England Patriots have found a new offensive coordinator. The Patriots hired Alex Van Pelt. to right the ship after a miserable season. Van Pelt was previously the offensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns and has also served as a quarterbacks coach for the Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals.
Van Pelt is known for his expertise in developing quarterbacks, and he will be tasked with helping to improve the Patriots’ offense. The team struggled on offense last season, finishing 28th in the league in total yards and 26th in points scored.
Van Pelt’s hiring is part of a larger coaching overhaul for the Patriots, who are looking to rebound after a disappointing 2023 season. The team has already hired Jerod Mayo as its new head coach, and Van Pelt will be an important part of his staff.
