Bill Belichick’s Thank You Ad to Patriots Fans Is His Classiest Move Ever

Bill Belichick is known for being a mastermind on the football field, but he also knows how to win off the field. The legendary coach, who led the New England Patriots to six Super Bowl titles, took out a full-page ad in the Boston Globe on Sunday to thank Patriots fans for their support.

The ad, which featured a photo of Belichick holding up one of his Lombardi trophies, read:

“For 20 amazing years, you have been with us through everything. The highs and lows. The joys and sorrows. The victories and defeats. You have been our 12th man, our home-field advantage, our loyal and passionate fan base. You have inspired us, motivated us, and challenged us to be better every day. You have been the best fans in the NFL, and we are forever grateful for your unwavering love and dedication.

As I enter a new chapter in my career, I want to express my sincere appreciation to the Kraft family, my coaches, staff, players, and everyone who has been part of the Patriots organization. It has been an honor and a privilege to work with such a remarkable group of people who share a common vision and a common goal.

But most of all, I want to thank you, the fans, for being the heartbeat of our team. You have made this journey unforgettable. You have made this place special. You have made this place home.

Thank you for everything. Thank you for being part of our family.

Sincerely,

Bill Belichick”
