Julian Edelman Sent A Message To Patriots Fans That Are Upset They Won’t Be Able To Go To Games In September

Julian Edelman has a message for disappointed fans that will not get a chance to see the Patriots first two home games this year. The Patriots announced yesterday that they won’t be allowed to have any spectators until October at the earliest. This will make the early fall games look eerily similar to football in the early 1990’s when the Patriots were unable to attract enough fans to avoid a local TV blackout.

After meeting with the Massachusetts Reopening Advisory Board on Tuesday, the Patriots announced the September, 13tj game against the Miami Dolphins, and September 27th game against the Las Vegas Raiders will be played without any fans in Gillette Stadium. Julian Edelman tried his best to bring hope to fans in these trying times.

“Pats Nation, with the news yesterday, I can see why some of you are disappointed and frustrated,” Edelman wrote. “Without a doubt it’s going to be different this September without every single one of you cheering us on. But don’t you worry… we’ll be right here when you get back.”
