Julian Edelman Is Fired Up To Prove Doubters Wrong As The NFL Season Approaches

The Patriots will have a very different look heading into next season, and nobody is more excited to prove any doubters wrong than Julian Edelman. Edelman has been with the Pats since 2009 and is fired up to prove that the Patriots can be a contender without Tom Brady at quarterback.

According to NFL Media’s Mike Giardi,

“I was told, and this is a direct quote: ‘Julian is Julian. He hates excuses. He hates to lose. He’s already got the red-ass about this season, people thinking we’re no good and that he’s just a product of Brady,’” Giardi said on NFL Network.

And according to Mike Giardi, Edelman is not alone. “He is really determined to prove to everyone, and I think a lot of players on this team are saying ‘Just because Tom Brady’s not here, doesn’t mean we’re not any good. In fact, we’ve won Super Bowls and you’re telling me it was about Tom, we’re telling you it was about a lot more than Tom,’” Giardi added.

The Patriots will have a big chip on their shoulder when the season begins, and they always seem to be at their best when they have this mentality.
