Julian Edelman Expected To Miss Multiple Games With A Knee Injury
Things are already bad enough already for the Patriots offense, and they are about to get worse. According to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, Julian Edelman (knee) is expected to miss “some game action.”
Edelman’s knee injury has made him a non-factor over the past month, totaling eight catches for 79 yards in that span.
That leaves the Patriots extremely thin at receiver. N’Keal Harry missed his second straight day of practice with a concussion suffered against the 49ers.
The Patriots are only left with Damiere Byrd, Gunner Olszewski and Jakobi Meyers, and Isaiah Zuber.
Patriots' WR Julian Edelman underwent a precautionary standard knee procedure this morning, per source. It is expected to sideline Edelman for “some period of time”, including Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.
