Former Patriots Linebacker Brandon Spikes Was Hit By An Airport Bus Earlier This Afternoon

Former New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes was hit by a airport bus earlier this afternoon.

Spikes announced the accident on Twitter.

“Just got hit by a freaking airport bus y’all pray for ya boi,” Spikes posted on social media.

He also attached a photo that shows him with a stabilizing collar on while on a stretcher that’s flanked by medical personnel. Spikes appears to be in stable condition.

The Patriots then drafted Spikes in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft.

While with New England, Spikes became a key member of the Patriots defense for four seasons, totaling 286 tackles in that span.
