Donnie Wahlberg Claps Back At All The Nonsense Questioning Bill Belichick’s Greatness
Normally I couldn’t give two shits about what a celebrity has to say about any of my local sports teams, but when it is a hometown fan that is making a lot of sense I am more than happy to go along with it. Donnie Wahlberg who has been in the spotlight for much of the past four decades, never let his fandom fade in the local sports franchises. Now he is calling out all the ridiculous nonsense by fans, and media that are questioning if Bill Belichick’s greatness was Tom Brady all this time. And he is spot on.
The fact is without Bill Belichick, Tom Brady would probably be selling insurance somewhere and his life would have been very different. There would have been no Gisele, no multi million dollar homes and companies, to go along with the hero worship that goes along with winning 6 Super Bowls.
Belichick was dealt a bad hand that sure, some was self imposed with poor drafting, but after 20 years at the top, and numerous draft picks taken away on fake scandals it is bound to catch up to a team. What the Patriots were able to pull off over the past 20 years was supposed to be impossible, and we will likely never see anything like it again. There are people out there right now that are even calling for Belichick’s head. That is completely ridiculous. The majority of Patriots fans needed a rough season like we just had. We need to lower the bar on the expectations a little. We already had double a lifetimes supply of championships, and anything from here on out is gravy. The least we can do is give Belichick a fighting chance to restore greatness.
