Video: Tom Brady Hilariously Takes Knee Trying Not To Lose Yards To Preserve His 1,000 Career Rushing Yards Intact
Tom Brady worked extremely hard to get to 1,000 yards rushing. He isn’t exactly the most mobile quarterback and he wasn’t about to give it away after it took him 18 seasons to get there.
After reaching the 1,000 yard milestone during Sunday’s game against the Vikings, Brady faced one problem. Up 14 with one play remaining, a kneel down would result in a one-yard loss.
Brady did something you don’t normally see by kneeling forward with the lead intact. Brady crawled under his centers legs as much as he could to down the ball at the original line of scrimmage to negate any loss of yardage.
There goes the Clydesdale! Tom Brady picks up the 1st down and he has now rushed for over 1000 yards in his career! #MINvsNE pic.twitter.com/VA15WvruJW
