Video: Julian Edelman Reveals Tom Brady Tried to Recruit Him To Tampa The Day He Signed With The Buccaneers

Loyalty is hard to find in professional sports nowadays, but not when it comes to Julian Edelman’s love for the Patriots. Julian Edelman revealed on the Manning brothers Monday Night Football broadcast that he was approached by Tom Brady to join him in Tampa.

Edelman said that when Brady signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to the 2020 season, that Brady asked him to go play with him. Edelman said he quickly denied the offer.

“He hit me up the first day he signed there,” Edelman said. “He’s like, ‘You wanna come down?’ And I was like ‘uh, absolutely not.'”

When Julian Edelman says Foxborough Forever he means it.

The first day Tom Brady joined the Bucs, he called up Julian Edelman asking if he wanted to join Brady in Tampa Bay.
