Video: Gronk Takes A Shot At The Patriots On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Former New England Patriots star TE Rob Gronkowski fired a shot at the Patriots last night during an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. Gronk was on the show discussing how great it was to receive his million dollar reception from Tom Brady last year. Tom Brady was about to be brought out of the game, but stayed in to help Gronk get the bonus.

Jimmy Kimmel asked Gronk if he had seen a similar situation before when he decided to fire a shot at Bill Belichick.

“I’ve seen that happen before. Not with the Patriots, though. They’ll probably pull you before you hit that bonus there…”
“I shouldn’t have said that.”

To be fair Belichick wouldn’t risk playing Gronk at the end of the season when the Patriots had clinched a first round bye so Gronk could get his money at the risk Gronk getting injured. Gronk missed a lot of time due to injury. Belichick always does whatever he feels is in the best interest of the team.
