Video: Edelman and Gronk featured in a hilarious Good Will Hunting remake
The unveiling of the Patriots’ 2024 game schedule was enhanced with a simultaneous release of a spoof video on Wednesday evening, showcasing a host of legendary figures from New England’s football scene.
In a nod to the film “Good Will Hunting,” Julian Edelman took the screen with Rob Gronkowski and Ernie Adams, the team’s former football research chief. The parody also included appearances by Robert Kraft, and the newly appointed head coach Jerod Mayo, with hints of the full schedule interwoven throughout.
Assuming the iconic roles from the 1997 movie originally played by Matt Damon and Robin Williams, Edelman, Gronk, and Adams brought to life several memorable lines from the film.
