Video: Devin McCourty’s Children Announce His Return To Foxborough For 13th Season With The Patriots
Devin McCourty announced that he’s returning for his 13th season with the New England Patriots. Devin got a little help from his children. In a video McCourty posted to Twitter, McCourty’s son Brayden asks his daughter Londyn where they’re going next year.
“Foxborough!” she says excitedly.
The veteran safety considered retirement this offseason, but he will return to the only place he has called home since joining the league back in 2010. Heading into his age-35 season, Devin did not show any signs of slowing down last year. He will remain one of the highest paid safeties in the league.
McCourty is signing a one-year deal worth $9,000,000.
