After agreeing to a new deal with the New England Patriots, Cam Newton had a message for his naysayers. Newton says you better not sleep on him in 2021. Many fans are currently questioning the deal after Newton didn’t show much for arm strength last season. Still he is likely the best option the Patriots had with a weak free agent QB class, and he already has knowledge of the playbook. Committing $20 million plus per year on a long term deal was not going to be a good move for the Patriots future, so Belichick decided it is best to roll with Cam for another season. Hopefully Cam will prove his doubters wrong this time around.
