Video: An MIT Professor Destroyed The Deflategate Allegation And Willingly Staked His Reputation On It

It has officially been five years since the Deflategate scandal began. Shortly after the New England Patriots crushed the Indianapolis Colts 45-7 allegations were released by an Indianapolis reporter that the Patriots purposely deflated the footballs lower than the 12.5 PSI that is allowed. That was followed up the day after by ESPN’s Chris Mortenson lighting the fire with a faulty tweet that would spark a national emergency. Mortensen lost all credibility that day and did not delete the faulty Tweet for 7 months. Of course we all know the NFL opened a multi million dollar investigation into the case while they and the national media did everything in their power to try to railroad Tom Brady.

Here is a video of MIT professor John Leonard, as he completely debunks the Deflategate theory. He explains how the ideal gas law works with football’s in specific temperatures, while mocking the NFL for never caring before, or having no clue about the physics behind it. Professor Leonard explains exactly how they botched the entire investigation. The NFL wanted nothing to do with his theory because it did not fit their narrative. When it comes down to it I will take the word of an MIT professor that is willing to stake his reputation on it over some goons from the league office with an agenda.

“Surprisingly, Roger Goodell, in his rulings, never quantified the percentage of air alleged to have been illicitly removed from the footballs,” Leonard wrote in Sports Illustrated. “If given a speeding ticket, a natural question to ask would be, ‘Officer, how fast was I going?'”

Of course if that evidence wasn’t enough to prove Tom Brady isn’t a cheater his track record in the 5 years since should be more than enough. Under the biggest microscope in the history of sports, Tom Brady went on to win 3 more Super Bowl’s in 4 appearances, while winning the NFL MVP award the following season. That should have been more than enough to shut the haters up, but the nonbelievers still exist to this day.
