Tuukka Rask Has Opted Out For The Rest Of The Playoffs
In a stunning development, Boston Bruins star goalie Tuukka Rask has announced that he will forego the rest of the season. Rask released the following statement this morning: “I want to be with my teammates competing, but at this moment there are things more important than hockey in my life and that is being with my family. I want to thank the Bruins and my teammates for their support and wish them success.”
Dale Arnold said that Tuukka told him he had a “family emergency but everything is ok now.”
That is a massive blow to the Bruins championship aspirations. All the responsibility will fall on Jaroslav Halak who has been now shot into the spotlight and will play to today as Boston and Carolina play Game 3 with the series tied at one game apiece.
