Tom Brady Says He Won’t “Shut The Door” On Playing Again In His Latest Podcast

Tom Brady left the door open to a possible return on tonight’s episode of his Let’s Go podcast.

Brady announced his retirement on Tuesday, with family being a big factor as well as not wanting to go through a rebuilding process in Tampa.

Brady , never actually said “retire” in his announcement, which has obviously led many fans to question his future.

“I’m just gonna take things as they come,” Brady, a mere six days after retiring, told co-host Jim Gray.“I think that’s the best way to put it and I don’t think anything, you know, you never say never. At the same time I know that I’m very, I feel very good about my decision.”

Brady added: “It’s certainly not that I can’t play or continue to play, but I think there’s an important choice for me to make, and I think the choice is, everything certainly comes at a cost, and the cost is what am I missing out on other aspects of my life?”

Brady still has plenty left in the tank if he was to decide to return, and while it is not very likely, he may decide to give it one more shot in the near future. Some players have a real hard time calling it quits, especially when they are still playing at an elite level.
