Tom Brady confirmed that he will not come out of retirement to join the New York Jets
A little after a week after Tom Brady’s healing period with the New England Patriots and their fans, Tom Brady slammed the door shut on the ridiculous rumors that he would come out of retirement to replace Aaron Rodgers on the New York Jets.
On his Let’s Go! podcast with Jim Gray, Brady brushed off the idea that he may play for his former division rival.
“The question everyone is wondering is have the Jets called and are you considering the Jets?” Jim Gray asked Brady.
“No, no no,” Brady said. “Next Question.”
“Asked and answered?” Gray then responded.
“You already know,” Brady said, ending the conversation.
There was just no way Tom Brady was going to say he was a Patriot for life and then come out of retirement and signed with a hated rival.
Update: Tom Brady was asked about joining the #Jets this season after the Aaron Rodgers injury.
