Rob Gronkowski And Camille Kostek Donated 10,000 Masks To Boston Medical Center
Patriots legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski continues his heroics in the area along with his girlfriend Camille Kostek. The couple have donated 10,000 medical-grade KN95 masks to Boston Medical Center and St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in New Jersey to help with the high demand of medical supplies during the coronavirus outbreak.
“Rob and I doing everything we could to figure out how to source these masks properly and get them in the hands of people that need them was not an easy task,” Kostek said Monday night on her Instagram story. “Thank you to the heroes of this crisis for putting yourselves and your family and everything that you do on the line to help the wellbeing of the people in our nation. I have cried a lot today.”
Kostek directed her 746,000 followers to a Go Fund Me called “Behind The Mask.” So far, they have raised over $67,000, of their $250,000 goal to send masks to hospitals for doctors and nurses who need them. Kostek donated $60,000 toward the fundraiser.
In a statement, Boston Medical Center expressed gratitude for the support.
“It is not lost on us that there are many health care facilities in need of supplies, particularly personal protective equipment, so we are very grateful and humbled Rob and Camille chose BMC,”.
