Richard Sherman “Absolutely” Wants To Play For The Patriots
Richard Sherman was just informed that he was released from the Seattle Seahawks. The All Pro cornerback will be looking for a new home and has been linked to the Patriots. The Patriots will need to fill in Malcolm Butler’s spot after a disappointing showing in the Super Bowl without his services.

According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, Sherman “absolutely wants to play for the Patriots. Howe added, There is a lot of intrigue from that side of the country. I can’t tell you it’s his #1 option, but I can tell you since last year Richard Sherman has been absolutely intrigued about playing for the Patriots.
Whether or not the Patriots are willing to meet Sherman’s demands are in question. Sherman is coming off a ruptured Achilles injury and expects to start running again in the next month or so. If he can return healthy he could be a massive addition to the Patriots secondary. The Patriots need to make a move to upgrade the defense and if it works out , we could have our best secondary since 2014.
Asked Richard Sherman what he’s looking for in his next team: “Looking for a great fit. A team that has a great QB. Looking for somewhere I will be comfortable.” Who fits that description? ?
