Report: X-Rays Are Negative on Mac Jones Ankle
Patriots fans got some good early news regarding Mac Jones ankle, but he is far from in the clear at the moment.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, X-rays on Jones’ ankle came out negative after Jones left the game in excruciating pain late in the 4th quarter of the Patriots loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Jones appeared to be in pain as he was limped off the field bypassing the blue medical tent and heading straight to the team’s locker room. Jones did not appear to put any weight on the leg as he came off the field.
Patriots running back Damien Harris said he talked with Mac a “little bit” and called Jones “very tough.”
“We all know that whatever’s going on, he’s going to do his best to best to get back on the field as fast as he can,” Harris said.
#Patriots QB Mac Jones has X-Rays on his ankle following the game and they were negative, source said. His ankle will continue to be evaluated.
