Red Sox Top Pitching Prospect Brayan Bello Struck Out 10 In His Triple-A Debut
Boston Red Sox top pitching prospect Brayan Bello had a spectacular debut for Triple-A Worcester last night.
The flame throwing right handed pitcher struck out 10 in six innings against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at Polar Park in Worcester, Mass.
Bello allowed six hits, two runs and a walk, throwing 94 pitches. It was the 11th double-digit strikeout game in the 23-year-old’s pro career. The 23 year old Bello is on the fast track to make his debut at Fenway Park this summer after dominating the minors with 52 Ks in 39 inning between Worcester and AA Portland.
