Red Sox Are Expected To Name Alex Cora Manager
The Red Sox will be getting a familiar face as their new manager. According to Jon Heyman, Alex Cora is returning as the Red Sox skipper.
The Sox let go of Cora last season while he was serving a suspension for his participation in the Houston Astros 2017 cheating scandal.
This is a great move to bring Alex Cora back. Cora is loved by the owners, front office, players, and fans.
In his first season as manager of the Red Sox, Cora led the Red Sox to the 2018 World Series championship. In his two years with the Sox he compiled a 192-132 record.
