Patriots WR DeVante Parker Is Furious At NFL For Not Stopping The Game After His Head Injury
New England Patriots wide receiver DeVante Parker is not too happy with the NFL after they failed to diagnose a head injury he suffered during last night’s game vs the Arizona Cardinals.
Parker suffered a concussion in the 1st quarter after he caught a pass on a slant route to pick up a first down. Arizona cornerback Anthony Hamilton landed on Parker awkwardly, and the ball came out at the end of the play. Parker clearly appeared dizzy getting up and needed the help of Offensive lineman Cole Strange had to help him up.
Troy Aikman said Parker was “a little banged up” and “wobbly,” saying “someone upstairs” should be watching the situation. Unfortunately, it took some help from his teammate Nelson Agholor, who knew something wasn’t quite right. Luckily the refs stopped the game because the Cardinals challenged the result of the play. Parker left the game and did not return due to a head injury.
The NFL and NFLPA announced will review their concussion-reporting policy after they somehow missed the incident.
Parker had a few things to say about it, and he was not exactly thrilled with their initial response.

Troy Aikman and Nelson Agholor knew that something was wrong with DeVante Parker, even if the officials and concussion spotter didn't seem to.
