Patriots Traded Backup Quarterback Jarrett Stidham To The Las Vegas Raiders
Josh McDaniels is not done collecting former Patriots for his new team. In the latest trade. the Patriots, and Raiders are exchanging late-round picks for Jarrett Stidham. Stidham was once thought to be potentially the eventual successor to Tom Brady in New England, but things didn’t pan out. Stidham will follow his former Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels to Las Vegas, as Derek Carr’s backup. The Patriots, drafted QB Bailey Zappe in the fourth round, which made Stidham expendable. It’s a move that should benefit both teams.
