Patriots Signed WR Marqise Lee To A 1-Year Deal
The Patriots are expected to make some noise today and started off by signing WR Marqise Lee, formerly of the Jaguars, to a one-year contract.
Lee posted 63-851-3 and 56-702-3 lines in 2016 and 2017, before missing the entire 2018 season with a torn ACL. Then he played in just six games in 2019. Lee is being brought in to compete for a roster spot, but it is hard to envision him becoming much more than a reserve. The Patriots are still expected to utilize Julian Edelman, Mohamed Sanu and N’Keal Harry in three-WR sets.
