Patriots Signed Super Bowl XLIX Hero Malcolm Butler To A 2-Year Deal
He’s back! Malcolm Butler, the man who will forever be etched in New England Patriots history for intercepting Russell Wilson to seal the win in Super Bowl XLIX is returning to the Patriots.
It’s reportedly worth “up to” $9 million. The Patriots have brought in a pair of corners this year, Terrance Mitchell, and Butler to try to replace J.C. Jackson. Jonathan Jones and Jalen Mills are the incumbents and Joejuan Williams is likely the one they will have to battle for a job. Butler didn’t play last season, but the two-year deal is probably a good sign he will earn a spot on the Patriots roster next season.
