Patriots Receive Devastating News Regarding James White’s Injury
The Patriots got terrible news regarding James White’s hip injury.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, James White will be out indefinitely, after suffering a hip subluxation in Sunday’s loss to the New Orleans Saints. White was carted off the field early in the second quarter.
“You hate it,” David Andrews said. “For a guy like that who really does give it all for this team, day in and day out — the world could use some more James Whites.”
“I think James obviously is a great, great player, but he’s also a really good person. He does everything right all the time,” Mac Jones said. “He comes into work every day. It’s not like he’s cutting any corners short because he’s an older player and knows it all. He continues to work. That definitely sucked to see him go down. We’re all behind him 100%. He’s a great team leader and he’s a great Patriot. We all want to be, if we can, like James. He’s a big role model for me and I hope he’s OK. Thoughts and prayers to him and his family.”
JJ Taylor, and Rhamondre Stevenson are expected to fill the role in the meantime.
#Patriots RB James White suffered a subluxation of the hip during yesterday’s game, per me and @MikeGiardi. The injury knocks the key offensive player out indefinitely. He has been undergoing tests today, but an IR stint would make sense.
