Patriots Re-Signed Demaryius Thomas, N’Keal Harry Placed On IR
The Patriots re-signed free agent WR Demaryius Thomas this morning. Thomas was cut a few days ago in a procedural move so the Patriots could clear roster space. Rookie WR NKeal Harry has been placed on the IR and is expected to return later in the season. He will be eligible to come back after week six.
There was talk of Thomas potentially reuniting with Denver after the Pats released him, but why go to a losing team? Thomas did well in his preseason debut last week, with 87 yards and two touchdowns on seven catches. He’ll compete with Phillip Dorsett and Jakobi Meyers for the third receiver role.
Patriots now are re-signing WR Demaryius Thomas to a one-year deal, per source. Thomas was released with the idea of returning.
