Patriots Plan To Honor Tom Brady Twice During Tonight’s Game
Tom Brady makes his big return to Gillette Stadium tonight for the first time since leaving for Tampa in Free Agency. Many wondered if the Patriots would do anything special upon his return to Foxborough since he will be the opposition.
According to NFL Network, “Sources say the Patriots will do what’s right and classy, offering a tribute to recognize Brady upon his return and also briefly stopping the game to commemorate him surpassing Drew Brees’ all-time passing yards mark of 80,358.”
Obviously it would have been so much greater to see him accomplish this in a Patriots uniform, but at least it will be done in front of the fans that had his back for the past two decades.
