Patriots Have Released Kyle Van Noy To Create Cap Space
The New England Patriots have released Kyle Van Noy to clear up some extra cap space with free agency coming up on March 16th. Van Noy’s release will free up an extra $5 million to double the Patriots cap space. Van Noy is now free to sign with any team.
Van Noy was an key member of the Patriots defense in 2021, recording 66 tackles, 5.0 sacks, two forced fumbles, an interception, and 10 passes defenses.
Van Noy was a member of the Patriots Super Bowl victories in Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl LIII during his first 4 year run with the Patriots. He departed as a free agent to the Miami Dolphins in 2020, before returning to New England after things did not work out for him in Miami.
