Patriots Game Against The Kansas City Chiefs Tomorrow Is Expected To Be Postponed
In light of New England Patriots starting quarterback Cam Newton testing positive for the coronavirus, the Patriots scheduled game against the Kansas City Chiefs tomorrow is expected to be postponed until later in the season. The Patriots were scheduled to fly out to Kansas City this afternoon at 1pm, but the plane is still currently on the tarmac.
With so much uncertainty with the recent development, it is in the NFL’s best interest to wait. If the game is postponed the Patriots could possibly end up having the next few weeks off, with a scheduled game against the Denver Broncos next weekend followed by an early bye week in Week 6.
The expectation is that the Chiefs’ and Patriots’ game will not be played as scheduled tomorrow at 4:25 ET, per source

All options now appear to be on the table. Patriots could leave later today. Patriots could leave Sunday. Game could be postponed. As one source texted, “No way they can travel today.” https://t.co/RwjemCEQQD
