Patriots Clinch Their 11th Straight AFC East Title!
It wasn’t easy, but the Patriots turned it on in the 4th quarter to clinch an unprecedented 11th consecutive AFC East division championship. It looked like the Patriots were going to run away with this game early on, but a few big plays by Buffalo quickly turned it into a nail biter. The Patriots offense finally showed signs of life by piling up 416 yards of offense. Tom Brady was 26/33 for 271 yards and 1 touchdown, and the running game had 155 yards rushing. Opening up the running game will be huge going forward, this offense will never be perfect but may have just enough to make another Super Bowl run. The Patriots need to win at home next week against Miami to lock up a first round bye and the #2 seed in the AFC Playoffs.
