Opposing NFL Teams Are Amazed At The Patriots “Master-Level” Coaching This Season

There are a lot of people out there that owe Bill Belichick an apology for doubting him. Belichick was not given a honeymoon after the departure of Tom Brady. Many fans, and media doubted Belichick’s greatness without giving him a fair chance to adjust to life after the GOAT. After a luck luster 7-9 season that had multiple players sitting out due to the pandemic, along with little time to prepare, doubts started to set in. A 2-4 start to the season after some heavy offseason spending certainly didn’t help to change any of those minds.

Since that time the Patriots have been the most dominant team in the NFL on offense, and defense. Something has certainly clicked after an adjustment period. The Patriots went from what appeared to be another rebuilding season to a legit contender, and has other NFL executives in awe of what they have been able to accomplish.

During NBC Sports Boston’s pregame show on Sunday, Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer shared takeaways from recent conversations with other teams about what they think of the Patriots.

“I talked to a couple people who played against them this morning about this,” Breer said. “I think the best way to put it, it’s a very well-conceived team. I’m gonna give you guys a direct quote from someone from this morning. ‘We saw them as the best-coached team we’ve seen since we got here. They do everything correct. They do everything disciplined. They have the perfect guys for it. They know exactly how they want to use them and where they want to use them. And everything is done perfectly. It’s a master-level class in coaching.’ “
