Matthew Judon Talks About Why He Loves Boston And Being In The Patriots Organization

Ever since the Patriots landed Matthew Judon in free agency back in 2021, Judon has been a very strong and vocal leader, and quickly has become a fan favorite.

Judon has been very accessible to fans and has really tried to be a presence in the community as well as a strong supporter of the team. Judon has even gone above and beyond his duties with the Patriots by actively trying to recruit other star players to join him in New England. He said that’s a reflection of how much he enjoys playing for Bill Belichick and the Patriots.

Appearing on the Jim Rome Show, Judon explained why he loved playing in New England, and his love for the city of Boston.

“I actually love everything about it,” Judon said. “I love the Boston seaport downtown area, and then I just like the camaraderie amongst the teams. I was in Maryland where our next closest team was in DC, but we get love from the C’s, from the Bruins, from the Red (Sox). Everybody out there shows us love and we do it to them and we just support each other. I really like that and I really like the town, but most importantly, I love playing football.”
