LT Isaiah Wynn Is Set To Return Week 12 Against Dallas
The Patriots have elected to use their final IR spot on Isaiah Wynn and he may return in Week 12 in their matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Wynn was selected in the first round of the 2018 draft but has had terrible luck with injuries to this point. If healthy Wynn should be able to solidify the gaping hole at Left Tackle and provide Tom Brady extra timing. Wynn was injured after suffering a toe injury in Week Two against the Dolphins. Veteran lineman Marshall Newhouse has been playing left tackle in Wynn’s absence.
With the return of Wynn and first round pick WR N’Keal Harry no other Patriots players will be able to return from the IR list. Unfortunately that means James Develin who has been a great contributor to the run game over the past few seasons will not be back with the team until next year. This also seals Josh Gordon’s fate if anyone was holding out hope that the Patriots would have a change of heart.
