Kyle Van Noy Is Back With The New England Patriots
Kyle Van Noy is coming home. The Patriots have signed LB Kyle Van Noy to a 2-year, $13.2M deal. Van Noy was a member of 3 Patriots Super Bowl teams, first coming to the Patriots midseason in 2016 in a trade from Detroit. He played with the Patriots through 2019, before leaving via free agency last year to play in Miami.
Van Noy was surprisingly released after the first year of a 4 -year deal he signed with Miami, and now he is coming back.
Van Noy played in 14 games for Miami in 2020, starting 13 of them. He recorded 69 tackles with six sacks, two forced fumbles, six passes defenses, and two fumble recoveries.
The Patriots are getting a 4th round compensatory pick in this year’s draft for losing Kyle Van Noy to Miami.
Now they have both the pick and Van Noy for 2021. This couldn’t have worked out more perfectly for the Patriots.
