Josh McDaniels Will Remain In New England After The Philadelphia Eagles Named A New Head Coach
Patriots fans have gotten used to the possibility of Josh McDaniels leaving the team for a head coaching job every year, but it has yet to come to fruition. He appeared to be a front runner for the Philadelphia Eagles job, but the Eagles passed on him as well. Instead Philly will be riding with Nick Sirianni as their head coach, according to Adam Schefter. Sirianni has been the Offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts for the past 3 seasons.
McDaniels famously spurned the Indianapolis Colts in 2018 after agreeing to take the head coaching position. He was also a leading candidate for the Cleveland Browns last offseason.
