Jakob Johnson Said He Dyed His Hair Red Because “I made some wagers and I had to pay the price”
Jakob Johnson was a big part of the New England Patriots 27-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. While what he did does not show up on the stat sheet, Johnson made some huge blocks, and has evolved into one of the best fullbacks in the league.
Fans may have noticed Johnson’s reddish hair, and may have mistaken it to have something to do with Halloween. In reality Johnson actually lost a bet, and had to pay his dues.
“The third Saturday in October hasn’t been great for me,” Johnson said. “I made some wagers and I had to pay the price. … I made a huge bet on Tennessee. This is the result. Shout out Damien.”
“I appreciate you guys asking the serious questions first and not getting distracted by this terrible crimson-like color,” Johnson said. “It is what it is for the next couple weeks.”
Johnson made a silly bet with Harris as they bet on their college teams. Tennessee lost to Alabama, in a 52-24 thumping, Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
