Dont’a Hightower Says Mac Jones Is Doing Next Level Preparation For A Young Quarterback

With the Patriots final preseason game coming up , Mac Jones isn’t taking any shortcuts. In fact he is taking things even further than expected according to Patriots linebacker Dont’a Hightower. Hightower spoke highly of Mac and his preparation habits.

Hightower said Mac Jones has a good work ethic, and is studying both sides of the game.

“Mac is a terrific kid He works hard. Real smart dude. He’s going to go over the edge. I’ve been impressed with him since OTAs and how hard he works,” said Hightower, who like Jones played at Alabama. “I actually found out yesterday he’s been looking at some of the defensive plays so he can assess what he sees and how we kind of work. I give him credit for that. Not a lot of young guys would see that as an opportunity. If you take that for what it’s worth, the kid works hard.”

Mac is clearly doing whatever it takes to be a winner.
