Devante Parker Said He Will Be Wearing #11 This Season And He Doesn’t Give A Damn If You Like It Or Not

The Patriots are not known for retiring numbers and #11 which was famously worn by Julian Edelman, and Drew Bledsoe before him will not be the exception to the rule. Newly acquired DeVante Parker has worn that number throughout his career, and he isn’t showing any signs that he is willing to give it up.

On Instagram Wednesday afternoon, DeVante Parker posted a photoshop of himself wearing No. 11. The veteran wide receiver’s caption read: “👀 🤔 I don’t give a damn if u like it or not 🤷🏾‍♂️.”

Parker’s new Patriots teammate Kendrick Bourne was one of the first to comment his approval on the post.

“Oooweee that 11 looking clean!! 👀 👀 ” Bourne wrote. “This man finna ball!”

While many fans will not be thrilled to see #11 handed out so quickly, if Parker can prove that he is worthy to wear the number he can quickly become a fan favorite.

The Patriots will honor Julian Edelman eventually in the Patriots Hall Of Fame.
