Deion Sanders Is Extremely Confident The Patriots Will Reach The Super Bowl

While most media members are ready to put the nail in the coffin for the Patriots 2018 season, don’t count Deion Sanders among them. Deion still strongly believes the Patriots are going to find a way to get through their incredibly tough playoff road. Deion believes this is the best thing that could have happened to the Patriots as they still have plenty of work to do.

Sanders believes the Patriots can benefit from having to play this weekend. “They don’t need a bye. Offensively, they’ve had a bye all year,” Sanders said Sunday on NFL Network’s “NFL GameDay Prime.” “The receivers have had a bye the whole training camp and everything. They don’t need a bye. They need to stay in it and work on their game and work on getting back to the Super Bowl, where they rightfully belong. This is not a team that deserves, nor needs a week off. This is the best thing to ever happen to them. It really is.”

If the Patriots win on Saturday and find a way to win again in the hostile environment in Kansas City, this would work heavily in their favor headed into the AFC Championship. Wins are earned and not given so anything can happen. Perhaps Brady and Belichick still have a little magic left for another epic Super Bowl run.
