David Portnoy Spent $250,000 To Win A Contest To Watch Football With Roger Goodell’s At His Home After Goodell Had Him Arrested And Banned From All NFL Events

Barstool Sports founder, David Portnoy, has made it his life’s mission to get Roger Goodell fired as NFL commissioner, ever since the Deflategate scandal broke out. There has been bad blood between them, especially since Portnoy, a lifelong Patriots fan, gave away thousands of Roger Goodell clown shirts, before Roger’s return to Gillette Stadium. That apparently pissed off Roger, and Portnoy was banned from all NFL events. That didn’t stop Portnoy though. He snuck into Superbowl media day a year ago in disguise, only to get arrested after he was discovered. Now Portnoy is turning up the heat in his latest stunt.

Roger Goodell announced a fundraiser for NFL’s COVID-19 relief efforts. The prize is for the highest bidder to watch a Monday Night Football game with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in his Fan Cave. David Portnoy, found the perfect opportunity to make Roger uncomfortable, and he placed the winning bid of $250,000. There is no word if Goodell will actually accept the bid, but if he does you can be sure Portnoy, will let him hear everything Patriots fans have wanted to say to him for years. It is going to be a very uncomfortable three hours for Goodell.
