Celtics have acquired star point guard Jrue Holiday from the Portland Trail Blazers
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Celtics have acquired Jrue Holiday from the Trail Blazers for Robert Williams, Malcolm Brogdon, the Warriors’ 2024 first-round pick, and a 2029 first-round pick.
Well, one day after it was reported that the Trail Blazers were expected to move Holiday by Monday, he’s on his way to Boston. This move boosts Boston’s perimeter defense, as they traded Marcus Smart to Memphis earlier this offseason.
This instantly makes the Celtics the favorites again to win the NBA championship.
